It’s that time of year to …HUNT!

You see a bow and arrow and you think hunting, right? Right! Hunger Games may even, somehow, creep into your mind or maybe even “Cupid” pulling back that bow and arrow. In more recent times, however, these popular tools are used as recreational and competitive equipment. Tibet, Korea, Germany, Brazil, and of course the United States of America (to name a few), are countries involved in this engaging sport/hobby. Our Archers did give their best in the recent 2012 London Olympics. Kudos to them!

 740 wins awardThe Taurus 740 SLIM has won the 2011 Golden Bullseye Award for "Handgun of the Year" by American Rifleman, a 125-year-old flagship publication of the National Rifle Association. The award will be presented at an invitation-only breakfast during the 2011 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, April 29-May 1, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

 

 

 

 

GLOCK, Inc. Makes $2 Million Donation to Fund the National Law Enforcement Museum

 DonationsGLOCK, Inc. gave a $2 million gift to The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund during the organization's 20th Anniversary Gala on Wednesday, Oct. 12. The gift was given to the Memorial Fund to assist in the development of an educational and interactive exhibition called The History Beat at the National Law Enforcement Museum, which is currently under construction in Washington, DC.

Junior Shooters is dedicated to juniors of all ages, but primarily from the age of eight to 21, depending upon the shooting sport.
